The project is currently owned by Comision Federal de Electricidad.
The hydro reservoir capacity is 710 million cubic meter. The net head of the project is 41.8m. The project generated 1,278 GWh of electricity.

Mitsubishi was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 4 turbines, each with 76MW nameplate capacity.
