Description

The project was developed by Kaliakra Wind Power. Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and INOS-1 are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 70% and 30% respectively.

The electricitiy generated from the plant has offsetted 70,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $84.525m.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Natsionalna Elektricheska Kompania under a power purchase agreement for a period of 12 years.

Contractors Involved

INOS-1 and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries were selected to render EPC services for the wind power project.

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 35 units of MWT-1000A/1.0 turbines, each with 1MW nameplate capacity.
