Kalpaka II Substation is a 400kV substation located in Kalpaka, Andhra Pradesh, India.

The Kalpaka II Substation project’s construction is expected to begin in 2022. The works are expected to be commissioned in 2023.

Description

Kalpaka II Substation project, which is a new substation, will be operated by Transmission Corporation of Andhra Pradesh.

The designed voltage level of the substation is 400/220kV and the operating voltage level is 400/220kV.

The step-in voltage of the project is 400kV and the step-out voltage is 220kV. Upon completion, the substation will have a capacity of 945MVA.
