Kantenah Substation is a 400kV substation located in Kantenah, Quintana Roo, Mexico.

The Kantenah Substation project’s construction is expected to begin in 2022. The works are expected to be commissioned in 2027.

Description

Kantenah Substation project, which is a new substation, will be operated by Comision Federal de Electricidad.

The designed voltage level of the substation is 400/115kV and the operating voltage level is 400/115kV.

The step-in voltage of the project is 400kV and the step-out voltage is 115kV. Upon completion, the substation will have a capacity of 500MVA.
