Kasargode Substation is a 400kV substation located in Kasargode, Kerala, India.

The Kasargode Substation project’s construction is expected to begin in 2022. The works are expected to be commissioned in 2024.

Description

Kasargode Substation project, which is a new substation, will be operated by Sterlite Grid.

The designed voltage level of the substation is 400/220kV and the operating voltage level is 400/220kV.

The step-in voltage of the project is 400kV and the step-out voltage is 220kV. Upon completion, the substation will have a capacity of 1000MVA.
