Description
The project is currently owned by Tennessee Valley Authority.
It is a Gas Turbine power plant that is used for Peakload. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant can also run on Distillate Fuel Oil. The fuel is procured from Tennessee Gas Pipeline.
The project generated 97,509MWh of electricity.

The project got commissioned in July 2002.
Contractors Involved
GE Power was selected as the turbine supplier for the Gas fired project. The company provided 4 units of 7E.03 gas turbines, each with 93MW nameplate capacity.
