Khafji – Nariyah Line, Saudi Arabia

Khafji – Nariyah Line is a 380kV overhead line with a length of 130km from Khafji, Ras Al-Khafj, Saudi Arabia, to Nariyah, Al Nariyah, Saudi Arabia.

The project, which is currently in the planning stage, is expected to be commissioned in 2023.

Description

Khafji – Nariyah Line is an overhead line that will be operated by Saudi Electricity. The line will carry alternating current (AC) through double circuit cable.

Approximately $33.7m was financed by the authorities to undertake the construction works of the project.

The construction works on the Khafji – Nariyah Line project will be commenced in 2022 and commissioning is expected in 2023.
