The project is currently owned by Damodar Valley with a stake of 100%.
It is a Steam Turbine power plant that is used for Baseload. The fuel is procured from Coal from MCL, Saharpur Jamarpani Coal block.

Indure Private is the O&M contractor for thermal power project. The operation and maintenance contract commenced from 2011, for a period of 5 years.
