Fortum and Uniper are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 90.76% and 9.24% respectively.

Krangede KRV is a reservoir based project. The hydro reservoir capacity is 60 million cubic meter. The gross head of the project is 60m. The project generated 1,570 GWh of electricity.

The hydro power project consists of 3 turbines.

Power Machines was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 3 units of francis turbines, each with 44.28MW nameplate capacity.
