It is a Thermal power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant can also run on Diesel.
The project generated 4,077,000MWh of electricity. The project cost is $930.677m.
The project got commissioned in July 2009.
Ukrainian Energy Machines was selected as the turbine supplier for the Gas fired project.
NPO Elsib supplied TF-160, Air Cooled electric generator for the project.
