Kremenchug is a 706.8MW hydro power project. It is located on Dnieper river/basin in Kirovohrad, Ukraine. The project is currently active. It has been developed in multiple phases. Post completion of construction, the project got commissioned in 1959.

Kremenchug is a run-of-river project. The hydro reservoir capacity is 9,000 million cubic meter. The net head of the project is 13.6m. Kremenchug underwent through rehabilitation & modernization during 1997-2002; 2019-2021;.Kremenchug (kremenchug Active unit) underwent through rehabilitation & modernization during 2013-2015. The project generated 1,495 GWh of electricity.
The project got commissioned in 1959.
Kremenchug (kremenchug Active unit) is equipped with Turboatom kaplan turbine. The phase consists of 1 turbine with 64MW nameplate capacity.
Kremenchug (Kremenchug Active units) is equipped with Turboatom kaplan turbines. The phase consists of 9 turbines with 57.2MW nameplate capacity.

Electrotyazhmash was selected as the generator supplier for the hydro power project. The project consists of 12 generators.
