The project is developed and owned by UkrHydroEnergo Open Joint Stock.
Kremenchug is a run-of-river project. The hydro reservoir capacity is 9,000 million cubic meter. The net head of the project is 13.6m. Kremenchug underwent through rehabilitation & modernization during 1997-2002; 2019-2021;.Kremenchug (kremenchug Active unit) underwent through rehabilitation & modernization during 2013-2015. The project generated 1,495 GWh of electricity.
