Krizovany – Bystricany Line is a 400kV overhead line from Krizovany, Presov, Slovakia, to Bystricany, Prievidza, Slovakia.

The project, which is currently under construction, is expected to be commissioned in 2021.


Krizovany – Bystricany Line is an overhead line that will be operated by Slovenska elektrizacna prenosova sustava. The line will carry alternating current (AC) through double circuit cable.

Approximately $81.05m was financed by the authorities to undertake the construction works of the project.

The development of the Krizovany – Bystricany Line project has been approved by the The Regulatory Office for Network Industries.
