Description
The project was developed by Tinguiririca Energia. The project is co-owned by Pacific Hydro and Statkraft Chile Inversiones Electricas, with their respective ownership stake of 50% each.
La Higuera is a run-of-river project. The gross head of the project is 372m. La Higuera underwent through rehabilitation & modernization during 2011-2013. The project generated 745 GWh of electricity. The project cost is $406m.
