The project is currently owned by Lahti Energia.
The project cost is $280.622m.
The process of gasification has been adopted in this combined heat and power (CHP) project to release the stored energy from the feed. Industrial waste, municipal solid waste and wood by-product are used as a feedstock to power the project.
Development Status
The project got commissioned in May 2012.
Contractors Involved
Sumitomo SHI FW Energia supplied steam boiler for the project. The temperature witnessed inside the boiler is around 540°C. The steam is pressurized inside the boiler at 121bar.
