Laoag Substation is a 500kV substation located in Laoag, Ilocos, Philippines.

The Laoag Substation project’s construction is expected to begin in 2025. The works are expected to be commissioned in 2026.

Description

Laoag Substation project, which is a new substation, will be operated by National Grid Corporation of the Philippines.

The designed voltage level of the substation is 500/230/13.8kV and the operating voltage level is 500/230/13.8kV.

The step-in voltage of the project is 500kV and the step-out voltage is 13.8kV. Upon completion, the substation will have a capacity of 2000MVA.
