The project is being developed and currently owned by Atlas Energia Renovavel do Brasil.
Lar do Sol-Casablanca II Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is planned over 700 hectares.
The project is expected to supply enough clean energy to power 261,662 households, to offset 40,500t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is expected to be around $265.29m.
The solar power project consists of 460,000 modules.

Power Purchase Agreement
