Lar do Sol-Casablanca II Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is planned over 700 hectares.
The project is expected to supply enough clean energy to power 261,662 households, to offset 40,500t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is expected to be around $265.29m.
The solar power project consists of 460,000 modules.
The project construction is expected to commence from 2022. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2023.
Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project will be sold to Unipar Carbocloro under a power purchase agreement for a period of 15 years.
