Lara STPS – Raigarh Line is a 400kV overhead line with a length of 36km from Lara Super Thermal Power Station, Chhapora, Chhattisgarh, India, to Raigarh, Chhattisgarh, India.

Construction works on the Lara STPS – Raigarh Line started in 2014 and the project was commissioned in 2016.


The Lara STPS – Raigarh Line, which is an overhead line, is being operated by Power Grid Corporation of India. The Lara STPS – Raigarh Line is a new line. The line carries alternating current (AC) through double circuit cable.

The development of the Lara STPS – Raigarh Line project was approved by Chhattisgarh State Electricity Regulatory Commission in 2014 and the project works were completed in 2016.
