Latehar – Patratu TPS Line, India

Latehar – Patratu TPS Line is a 400kV overhead line with a length of 220km from Latehar, Jharkhand, India, to Patratu Thermal Power Station, Jharkhand, India.

The project, which is currently under construction, is expected to be commissioned in 2021.


Latehar – Patratu TPS Line is an overhead line that will be operated by Jharkhand Urja Vikash Nigam. The line will carry alternating current (AC) through double circuit cable.

The development of the Latehar – Patratu TPS Line project has been approved by the Jharkhand State Electricity Regulatory Commission.

The construction works on the Latehar – Patratu TPS Line project were commenced in 2019 and commissioning is expected in 2021.
