Lekki Substation is a 330kV substation located in Lekki, Lagos, Nigeria.
The works are expected to be commissioned in 2021.
Lekki Substation project, which is an upgrade substation, will be operated by Transmission Company Of Nigeria.
The designed voltage level of the substation is 330/132/33kV and the operating voltage level is 330/132/33kV.
The step-in voltage of the project is 330kV and the step-out voltage is 33kV. Upon completion, the substation will have a capacity of 500MVA.
Lekki Substation project development status
The development of the Lekki Substation project was approved by Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission. The project is expected to be commissioned in 2021. Approximately $4.95m was financed by the authorities to undertake the construction works of the project.
