Description

The project was developed by 8minute Solar Energy and Tenaska Energy. Allianz Global Investors and Tenaska Energy are currently owning the project.

Lotus Solar PV Farm is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 375 acres.

The project generates 125,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 12,000 households, offsetting 48,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $99.61m.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Southern California Edison under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years, starting from 2020.

Contractors Involved

Signal Energy Constructors was selected to render EPC services for the solar PV power project.

Toshiba Mitsubishi-Electric Industrial Systems supplied 14 of its Ninja 4200 inverters to the project site.

The project is utilising horizontal single axis trackers supplied by NEXTracker.
