Description

The Lucknow – Kanpur Line, which is an overhead line, is being operated by Power Grid Corporation of India. The Lucknow – Kanpur Line is a new line. The line carries alternating current (AC) through double circuit cable.

Lucknow – Kanpur Line project development status

The development of the Lucknow – Kanpur Line project was approved by Uttar Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission and the project works were completed in 2017.

Contractors involved

KEC International and Tata Projects was appointed by Power Grid Corporation of India to supply the cables for executing the 400kV Lucknow – Kanpur Line.
