Lyse Substation is a 420kV substation located in Lyse, Stavanger, Norway. The construction works on Lyse Substation began in 2018. The project was commissioned in 2019.
The Lyse Substation project is a new substation being operated by Statnett SF.
The designed voltage level of the project is 420kV, while the operating voltage level is 420kV. The step-in voltage of the substation is 420kV. The substation capacity is 2,000MVA.
Lyse Substation has received approval from Norwegian Water Resources and Energy Directorate to undertake the works on the project.
