The power generated from the project is sold to Camara de Comercializacao de Energia Eletrica under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years.
Contractors Involved
Engevix Engenharia e Projetos was selected to render EPC services for the wind power project.
GE Renewable Energy was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 21 units of ECO 86 turbines, each with 1.67MW nameplate capacity.
Alstom is the O&M contractor for the wind power project.
