The project was developed by First Solar. The project is co-owned by Southern Power and Turner Renewable Energy, with their respective ownership stake of 50% each.
Macho Springs Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 597 acres.
The project generates 81,473MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 18,000 households. The project cost is $183.223m.
