Maheswaram Substation is a 400kV substation located in Maheswaram, Telangana, India.

Description
Maheswaram Substation project, which is a new substation, will be operated by Transmission Corporation of Telangana.
The designed voltage level of the substation is 400/220kV and the operating voltage level is 400/220kV.
The step-in voltage of the project is 400kV and the step-out voltage is 220kV. Upon completion, the substation will have a capacity of 630MVA.
Maheswaram Substation project development status
The development of the Maheswaram Substation project was approved by Telangana State Electricity Regulatory Commission in 2015. The project is expected to be commissioned in 2021.
