The project is developed and owned by Turkmenenergo. The company has a stake of 100%.

It is a combined cycle gas turbine (ccgt) power plant.

The project generated 12,600,000MWh of electricity.

The Gas fired project consists of 2 steam turbines, each with 260MW nameplate capacity.

Calik Enerji San Ve Tic and GE Power were selected to render EPC services for the gas fired power project.

GE Power was selected as the turbine supplier for the Gas fired project. The company provided 4 units of 9F.03 gas turbines, each with 263.5MW nameplate capacity.

John Cockerill Group supplied steam boiler for the project.
