Description
The project is currently owned by Hungarian Power Companies Ltd (MVM Zrt.) with a stake of 98.81%.
It is a Steam Turbine with Cogen power plant that is used for Baseload. The fuel is procured from Visonta coal mine, Bukkabrany coal mine.
The project emitted 5,194,708t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.
Development Status
The project got commissioned in July 1969.
Contractors Involved
The electric generators for the project were procured from ABB Lang, Ganz and Leningradsky Metallichesky Zavod.
TE GANZ-ROCK Boiler and Power Equipment supplied steam boiler for the project.
