Mayflower Offshore Wind Farm is an 804MW offshore wind power project. It is planned in Atlantic Ocean, Massachusetts, the US. The project is currently in permitting stage. It will be developed in single phase. Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in December 2025.

Description

The project is being developed by Mayflower Wind Energy. The project is co-owned by EDPR Offshore North America and Shell New Energies US, with their respective ownership stake of 50% each.

The project is expected to supply enough clean energy to power 680,000 households, to offset 17,000,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is expected to be around $3,881.712m. The project will be spread over an area of 520km² and will be interconnected by 66kV inter-array cable.

Development Status

Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in December 2025.
