The project was developed by BP Wind Energy North America and Sempra Energy. The project is co-owned by AEP Renewables and BP Wind Energy North America, with their respective ownership stake of 50% each.

Power Purchase Agreement

Old Dominion Electric Cooperative and Southern Maryland Electric Cooperative are the power offtakers from the project.

Contractors Involved

Renewable Energy Systems Americas was selected to render EPC services for the wind power project.

GE Renewable Energy was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 88 units of 1.6-82.5 turbines, each with 1.6MW nameplate capacity.

GE Renewable Energy is the O&M contractor for the wind power project. The operation and maintenance contract commenced from 2012, for a period of 5 years.
