The project was developed by Fujian Pacific Electric. SDIC Power Holdings and Genting Power Holdings are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 51% and 49% respectively.
It is a Steam Turbine power plant.

Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to State Grid Fujian Electric Power under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years.
Bechtel was selected to render EPC services for the coal fired power project.
