The project is currently owned by Salt River Project Agricultural Improvement And Power District with a stake of 100%.

It is a combined cycle gas turbine (ccgt) power plant. The fuel is procured from El Paso/Kinder Morgan Transwestern Pipeline.

The project generated 4,928,666MWh of electricity.
