Mianyang South Substation is a 500kV substation located in Mianyang, Sichuan, China. The construction works on Mianyang South Substation began in 2019. The project was commissioned in 2021.

Description

The Mianyang South Substation project is a new substation being operated by State Grid Corporation of China.

The designed voltage level of the project is 500kV, while the operating voltage level is 500kV. The step-in voltage of the substation is 500kV.

Mianyang South Substation has received approval from State Electricity Regulatory Commission to undertake the works on the project.

Contractors involved

Southwest Electric Power Design Institute and State Grid Corporation of China was appointed by State Grid Corporation of China to undertake design and construction works of the Mianyang South Substation.
