T&D Project stood at first place when compared with other power tender categories in the Middle East and Africa region in Q2 2020 with 28 contracts and a 34.1% share, followed by Power Plant with 21 contracts and a 25.6% share and Generation Equipment with 16 contracts and a 19.5% share during the quarter.

The proportion of contracts by category tracked by GlobalData in the quarter was as follows:

  1. Project Implementation: 14 contracts and a 66.7% share
  2. Consulting & Similar Services: four contracts and a 19% share
  3. Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: three contracts and a 14.3% share.

Solar is top technology for Middle East and Africa power plant contracts in Q2 2020
