T&D Equipment stood at first place when compared with other power tender categories in the Middle East and Africa region in February 2021 with 106 tenders and a 54.4% share, followed by Power Plant with 30 tenders and a 15.4% share and T&D Project with 27 tenders and a 13.8% share during the month.

The proportion of tenders by category tracked by GlobalData in the month was as follows:

  1. Supply & Erection: 99 tenders and a 93.4% share
  2. Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: seven tenders and a 6.6% share.

Thermal is top technology for Middle East and Africa T&D equipment tenders in February 2021

Looking at T&D equipment tenders by the type of technology in the Middle East and Africa region, thermal accounted for four tenders with an 80% share, followed by solar with one tender and a 20% share.
