Middle East and Africa T&D equipment tenders activity up 8% in November 2021

There were 95 T&D equipment tenders announced in the Middle East and Africa region in November 2021, marking a rise of 8% over the last 12-month average of 88, according to GlobalData’s power industry tenders database.

T&D Equipment stood at first place when compared with other power tender categories in the Middle East and Africa region in November 2021 with 95 tenders and a 53.7% share, followed by Power Plant with 37 tenders and a 20.9% share and T&D Project with 26 tenders and a 14.7% share during the month.

The proportion of tenders by category tracked by GlobalData in the month was as follows:

1. Supply & Erection: 90 tenders and a 94.7% share
2. Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: five tenders and a 5.3% share.

Hydro is top technology for Middle East and Africa T&D equipment tenders in November 2021

Looking at T&D equipment tenders by the type of technology in the Middle East and Africa region, hydro accounted for one tender with a 100% share.
