Monte Plata-WCG Energy Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 75 hectares.
The project generates 110,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 80,000 households, offsetting 50,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

The project construction commenced in 2018 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in November 2019.
Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Corporacion Dominicana de Empresas Electricas Estatales under a power purchase agreement from 2019. The contracted capacity is 50MW.
