Moro Substation is a 500/220kV substation located in Moro, Sindh, Pakistan. The construction works on Moro Substation began in 2016. The project was commissioned in 2017.
The Moro Substation project is a new substation being operated by National Transmission & Despatch.
The designed voltage level of the project is 500/220kV, while the operating voltage level is 500/220kV.The step-in voltage of the substation is 500kV and the step-out voltage is 220kV. The substation capacity is 1,500MVA.
Moro Substation has received approval from Water and Power Development Authority,Pakistan to undertake the works on the project.Approximately $269m was financed by the authorities for the construction works of the project.
