Description

The project was developed by Galetech Energy Services and Hibernian Wind Power. ESB Independent Energy and Galetech Energy Services are currently owning the project.

The project supplies enough clean energy to power 15,000 households, offsetting 66,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Contractors Involved

ESB International was selected to render EPC services for the wind power project.

GE Renewable Energy was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The project consists of 23 units of 1.5s turbines, each with 1.5MW nameplate capacity.
