Mphanda Nkuwa II is a 750MW hydro power project. It is planned on Zambezi river/basin in Tete, Mozambique. The project is currently in announced stage. It will be developed in single phase. Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in 2025.

The project is being developed and currently owned by Eletricidade de Mozambique.
The hydro reservoir capacity is planned to be 2,324 million cubic meter. The project is expected to generate 4,200 GWh of electricity.
Development Status
Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in 2025.
