The power generated from the project is sold to Southern Power Distribution Company of Andhra Pradesh under a power purchase agreement. The power is sold at the rate of $0.071kWh for a period of 25 years, starting from 2017. The contracted capacity is 100MW.
Contractors Involved
Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 50 units of G114-2.0 MW turbines, each with 2MW nameplate capacity.
