It is a Gas Turbine power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant can also run on Light Oil.

Ansaldo Energia was selected as the turbine supplier for the Gas fired project. The company provided 2 units of AE94.3A gas turbines, each with 250MW nameplate capacity.
Ansaldo Energia supplied WY23Z-109LL electric generator for the project.
