The project is being developed by Mulilo Total Hydra Storage. Mulilo Coega Holdco, Total Gaz Electricite Holdings France and Redstreet1 RF are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 35%, 35% and 30% respectively.

The project cost is expected to be around $258.12m.
The project construction is expected to commence from 2021. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by December 2022.
