The project was developed by Government Of Lao People’s Democratic Republic, Phongxubthavi Bridge Road Construction and Rohas Euco Industries. The project is currently owned by BCPG Public with a stake of 100%.

The hydro reservoir capacity is 123 million cubic meter.
