Description

The project was developed by Government Of Lao People’s Democratic Republic, Phongxubthavi Bridge Road Construction and Rohas Euco Industries. The project is currently owned by BCPG Public with a stake of 100%.

The hydro reservoir capacity is 123 million cubic meter.

Development Status

The project construction commenced in 2012 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in 2015.

Electricite du Laos and Vietnam Electricity are the power offtakers from the project.

Contractors Involved

Nam Sane 3 (Nam Sane 3A) is equipped with Dongfang Electric pelton turbines. The phase consists of 2 turbines with 34.5MW nameplate capacity.

Nam Sane 3 (Nam Sane 3B) is equipped with Dongfang Electric turbines. The phase consists of 3 turbines, each with 15MW nameplate capacity.
