Naumure is a 225MW hydro power project. It is planned on West Rapti river/basin in Rapti, Nepal. The project is currently in permitting stage. It will be developed in single phase. The project construction is likely to commence in 2022 and is expected to enter into commercial operation in 2025.

Naumure is a reservoir based project. The hydro reservoir capacity is planned to be 810.3 million cubic meter. The gross head of the project will be 140m. The penstock length will be 120m. The penstock diameter will be 4.2m. The project is expected to generate 1,157.5 GWh of electricity. The project cost is expected to be around $324.42m.

The hydro power project consists of 3 turbines, each with 81.67MW nameplate capacity.

The nameplate capacity of electric generator(s) to be installed at the project site is 89.84 MVA.

Development Status

The project construction is expected to commence from 2022. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2025.
