Navoi Thermal Power Plant is a 1,250MW gas fired power project. It is located in Navoiy, Uzbekistan. The project is currently active. It has been developed in single phase. Post completion of construction, the project got commissioned in December 1981.

Description

The project is currently owned by JSC Uzbekenergo with a stake of 100%.

It is a steam turbine with cogen power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant can also run on Mazut.

Development Status

The project got commissioned in December 1981.

Contractors Involved

Mitsubishi Power was selected as the turbine supplier for the Gas fired project.

NPO Elsib supplied TVF-60-2, Hydrogen Cooled electric generator for the project.

Taganrog Boiler-Making Works Krasny Kotelshchik supplied steam boiler for the project.

Mitsubishi Power is the O&M contractor for thermal power project.
