New Haven North Substation is a 330/132/33kV substation located in New Haven North, Enugu, Nigeria. The construction works on New Haven North Substation began in 2014. The project was commissioned in 2015.


The New Haven North Substation project is an upgrade substation being operated by Transmission Company Of Nigeria.

The designed voltage level of the project is 330/132/33kV, while the operating voltage level is 330/132/33kV. The step-in voltage of the substation is 330kV and the step-out voltage is 33kV. The substation capacity is 150MVA.

New Haven North Substation has received approval from Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission to undertake the works on the project. Approximately $10.78m was financed by the authorities for the construction works of the project.
