Hydro One has reached a definitive agreement to acquire Orillia Power Distribution Corporation (OPDC) in exchange for C$41.3m ($31.87m).

The OPDC is a subsidiary of Orillia Power Corporation (OPC) and is further owned by the City of Orillia. Hydro One will initially pay the City of Orillia C$26.35m ($20.33m) and assume approximately C$14.9m ($11.5m) of debt and regulatory liabilities.

Ramboll Group has completed the acquisition of two German onshore wind consultancies, BBB Umwelttechnik and CUBE Engineering.

The acquisition gives Ramboll Group an addition of 85 employees to provide consultancy services on wind energy projects worldwide and helps to further expand its position in Germany.
